The Prize
Stena Line has been operating the ferry line between Karlskrona – Gdynia for more than twenty years and has experienced a lot of ideas and innovations in the Baltic region along the way. We want to encourage new companies and partnerships that enrich and develop the business climate in our region. Therefore, we have instituted the Stena Line Propeller Prize, an entrepreneur prize granted annually to young businesses. Two young growth companies win 100 000 SEK / 50 000 PLN each.

Innovation Day
Stena Line Propeller Prize is announced by Blue Science Park and includes three nominees in ICT and three in Maritime Technology. The award ceremony takes place at the Innovation Day, March 7th at BTH (Blekinge Institute of Technology) in Karlskrona where businesses, media and other stakeholders will be present. All presentations will be in English.

How to apply
To participate the company:

– must be active
– preferably not older than five years
– should have an ambition to grow
– should be driven by entrepreneurship and innovation
– should have a documented proof of concept
– should be located in the Baltic Sea region
– should be internationally scalable
– should be focused on sustainability

Closing of the contest will be at 4th of February 2019.
