Successful DRAS Deployment in PRCiP

Bilander IT successfully completed implementation of the data flow and reporting system DRAS in Dredging and Underwater Works Co. Ltd. (PRCiP) company. The software is installed on 15 vessels and 20 stations in the office.

DRAS (Dredging Reporting and Analysis System) is a system designed for dredging companies. The system was developed taking into account the specificities of such companies and their needs. Benefits that the DRAS system has brought for PRCiP are easier reporting and allowing the crews to focus on servicing vessels as well as allowing higher company transparency and easier data analysis. The DRAS system can be easily integrated with Binocle Suite which gives even greater analytical capabilities.

Both seafarers and office staff speak positively about the new system. Some opinions heard among the sailors were: "it is so simple”, "At least, we have twenty-first century on the ship," "Finally we will not have to add up columns of figures of 7 in the morning." Office workers emphasize the benefits of ease of search information on current projects, as well as the elimination of large quantities of paper copies of documents. In order to facilitate the implementation process various training materials were prepared. The most successful were training films voiced with Ivona speech synthesizer.
