Pomeranian Science and Technology Park invites You to visit Regional Patent Information Centre. Regional Patent Information Centre (RPIC) was established to popularize knowledge in the area of intellectual property protection and to improve access to patent literature. The Centre's main objective is to stimulate the development of innovative entrepreneurship. The opening of the Centre answers the needs of the following recipients groups: entrepreneurs, students, inventors, patent agents and everyone else interested in the subject of patent information and intellectual property protection. RPIC cooperates with the Polish Patent Office and is a member of PATLIB Network (gathering Polish and European patent centers under the auspices of the European Patent Office)

The Centre performs  informational, educational & training as well as consulting functions targeted mainly at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park's partners, local academic environment and all parties interested in the subject of industrial property protection.

An extensive collection of patent literature and documents concerning inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trade marks, copyrights and patent databases on CD and DVD is available in the Centre's library. Users also have access to more than 60 million patent documents  worldwide.

• International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks (under the Nice Agreement) 9th edition
• European Patent Office's (EPO) and World Intellectual Property Organization's (WIPO) publications

on CD-ROM and DVD:

• bibliographic information and full-texts of patent descriptions in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe since 1993r.
• bibliographic information and abstracts of approximately 3 million patent documents worldwide
• auxiliary patent literature

• on-line access to Internet data bases offering approx. 60 million patent documents worldwide (including Japanese abstracts in English)
