MpicoSys company has started a project for Arizona State University!

MpicoSys - Embedded Pico Systems Sp. z o. o. has started cooperation with the Flexible Display Center (FDC) at Arizona State University, USA.
MpicoSys delivered a flexible display demonstrator. It is a compact device based on software-driver technology, developed by MpicoSys. The demonstrator displays pictures in resolution of 240 x 268 pixels in 16 level greyscale. It is based on the STM 32 processor, uses Bluetooth wireless connection and user interface based on accelerometer, thanks to which the changes of pictures being displayed result from motion, like rotation or hand shaking. This miniaturized, technologically advanced device was made by the MpicoSys' engineers in a very short time.
The demonstrator was presented by Arizona State University on the SID conference in San Antonio, Texas, May 31 - June 5, 2009. The SID International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition, is the premier international gathering of scientists, engineers, manufacturers and users in the electronic display industry. SID is the leading North American fair for the electronic-display industry, with more than 350 exhibition stands and 6,000 attendees.
The Flexible Display Center is the result of an agreement between Arizona State University and The U. S. Army University, creating a government-industry-academic partnership. FDC partners include many of the world's leading providers of advanced display technology, materials and process equipment.
The demonstrator produced by MpicoSys means the completion of the first stage of a larger project made for FDC.
Now, works on the next demonstrator are in progress, which represents the second stage of the enterprise.
