The latest IT discoveries of PPNT companies will be on display during the CeBIT Trade Show. The world's most important technology industry people will be heading for Hanover from 6 March 2012. In what way are the ideas from Gdynia going to surprise them?

ARound will be presenting its ground-breaking NeurON, an application that allows electronic devices to be controlled by facial movements, and even emotions and thoughts. One of the most important innovations on display is IVONA Text-to-Speech developed by IVONA Software, a company whose ready-made solutions are expected to generate particular interest. The company develops also solutions for mobile devices, and designs technologies supporting disabled people. Bilander Group is planning to unveil its Binocle Performance Monitor, an innovative platform that integrates data analysis with planning methods. Grupa Wsparcia Projektów Innowacyjnych [Innovative Projects Support Group] will be demonstrating advanced applications of video communication methods. Master Telecom, another company from Gdynia, will be showing its Visual Contact Center Studio, which is going to take interpersonal communication to the next level. NeurON project proposed by ARound Sp. z o.o. company brings together electroencephalography (EEG) and AR (Augmented Reality) technology. With NeurON software the EEG technology enables user to control computer by one's thoughts (using brainwaves) and facial expression (e.g. smile) and emotions. AR brings together real world and virtual generated by computer or mobile device. These devices overlays on camera picture 3D graphics or 2D video, pictures and presents this on lenses of the AR glasses or screen. This setup extends the real world with virtual objects. NeurON application can be used for example in industry, where a worker with usually busy hands can simply change the virtual content by his thoughts and see this content through the AR glasses or on display. Virtual models of parts are put on top of the real machine. He can precisely put a part into the adequate place. Person with disability can control computer software with thoughts or facial expression. ARound company has built their own cross-platform AR engine and is using it for building AR applications for other companies.

The Binocle Performance Monitor platform, developed by Bilander Group, combines the possibilities of Business Intelligence data analysis with an advanced budgeting and planning tool. Its innovativeness lies in the ease with which solutions for particular industries and/or companies can be developed. These business applications may be controlled by gestures. Moreover, the solution is completely mobile and can run on PCs, smart phones, iPads and various industrial devices. The platform has already been implemented by Energa, IBM, Bartek, NDI and other companies.

Systems and applications for e-Video Conferences, e-VideoRoom and e-ContactOffice will be presented by Grupa Wsparcia Projektów Innowacyjnych [Innovative Projects Support Group], a company that designs and implements modern software and IT systems. An ICT communication systems design, offering innovative applications for video conferences, has recently been added to its portfolio.

The speech synthesis system created by experts of the company IVONA Software has the fastest developing portfolio with solutions available for telecommunications, mobile device producers, as well as creators of applications and technologies providing the disabled with assistance. Its capabilities are available, among others, in the IVONA Speech Cloud. Nicole, Geraint and Gwyneth are the names assigned to the new English Text-to-Speech voices – one Australian and two Welsh – which can be used in the IVONA TTS system. They have joined the impressive set of more than ten voices used for the more than ten most popular languages (including French, German, Italian and Spanish). Each and every voice has been prepared in the accurate BrightVoice™ technology, which has won numerous awards. Further voices are being prepared.
