IVONA with Android...

IVONA Software, an award winning developer and provider of Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology, today announced the release of its new Android application which allows Android device users to use IVONA voices within their speech enabled apps.IVONA's Text-To-Speech HQ mobile app is available on the Android Market. During the introductory period lasting until September 15th, new users can choose to use IVONA voices for free.

 "IVONA voices represent the highest quality - both in terms of being extremely pleasing to the ear as well as with pronunciation accuracy. For the next 125 days users will be able to download and listen to IVONA voices for free. This will provide the opportunity for uses to hear the differences between IVONA and other voices first-hand" said Lukasz Osowski, CEO of IVONA. "With so many applications now incorporating the use of TTS functionality, we are pleased to give users the option to swap in IVONA voices and improve their overall experience, no matter which speech-aware apps they use. Android users deserve high quality (HQ)."

IVONA voices can now be downloaded from Android Market. Installation instructions are provided within the app. Once installed, apps like Google Maps, Cool Reader, FBReader, Speaking Pad, and IDEAL Web Reader will self-voice in a more natural, easier to understand, IVONA voices.
