MpicoSys - Embedded Pico Systems is a young, innovative company, that provides product design and engineering services for tiny micro-electronic systems. It focuses on low power, ultra small systems for card and label applications like smart card devices incorporating flexible displays. Key expertise of MpicoSys focuses around:
- security (banking and e-government),
- flexible displays (LCD and electro-phoretic),
- (extreme) low power,
- contactless communication and power.
MpicoSys proposes to their international customers an approach that ranges from consultancy, prototyping to full product development. Company uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide turnkey solutions for their products.
MpicoSys has taken the challenge integrating a display into the smart card security providing the architecture, layout and embedded software for the "Olympic Display Card" presented in Beijing Olympic Games 2008. MpicoSys embarks on also a new project that will extend the boundaries of the security card technology. This project is sponsored by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and realised within the consortium with Fryderyk Skarbek Higher School of Trade and International Finance in Warsaw.
